Built on the floor of a working lab. Calibix was developed with Regal Caltech, an NABL-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory in Tamil Nadu with more than 35 years in metrology and customers across South Asia and East Africa.
The job lifecycle

Calibix doesn't replace your quality manual. It makes sure the records behind it exist, are linked, and can be found during an NABL surveillance visit.
Clause references are to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Accreditation is granted to laboratories, not software.

Prices are per laboratory, testing facility or operational site for a 12-month subscription, plus GST. Certificate quota is measured per subscription year for the licensed site.
What counts as a certificate?
A certificate unit is counted when a calibration certificate, test report, inspection/verification report or equivalent final result document is formally finalised and issued from Calibix.
- Drafts, previews and temporary working documents do not count.
- Reprinting or re-downloading an issued certificate does not use another unit.
- A corrected or revised document on the same underlying record can be treated as the same certificate, depending on your configured workflow.
- A newly issued document with a new certificate/report number counts as a new unit.

Product
Do we need to install anything?
No. Calibix is delivered as a secure web-based SaaS platform. Users work in a modern web browser, so engineers can enter readings on a laptop at the bench or at the customer's site.
Where is the system hosted?
For the current India deployment, application infrastructure is hosted in Mumbai, India. Deployment and data-location requirements can be discussed during implementation.
Can Calibix be used for testing as well as calibration?
Yes. Calibix can be configured for calibration, testing, inspection, measurement and verification workflows where structured records, approvals and certificates or reports are required.
Is Calibix only for ISO/IEC 17025 laboratories?
No. Calibix supports workflows commonly required by ISO/IEC 17025 laboratories, but it can also be implemented in other testing, QA/QC, inspection and institutional environments.
Can we bring our existing price list and instrument masters?
Yes. During onboarding we import your disciplines, groups, parameters, items, reference equipment and customer list from your spreadsheets, so you start with your real scope.
Will our certificate format change?
Certificates are set up to match the format your lab already issues and your accreditation body has seen, including your certificate numbering.
Do you support export customers?
Yes. Quotes and invoices can be raised in INR or USD, with the dashboards filtered by billing currency.
Pricing & licensing
What is a licence unit?
One licence unit covers one laboratory, testing facility or operational site for a 12-month subscription period, subject to the selected annual certificate quota.
What is counted as a certificate?
A certificate is counted when a calibration certificate, test report, inspection/verification report or equivalent final result document is formally issued from Calibix.
Do draft certificates count?
No. Drafts, previews and working copies do not count toward the annual quota.
Do reprints count again?
No. Reprinting or downloading an already issued certificate does not use another certificate unit.
What happens if we need more certificates?
Additional certificate packs can be purchased during the subscription (1,000 for ₹30,000 + GST or 5,000 for ₹1,20,000 + GST), or the account can be moved to a higher-volume plan.
Can we have multiple sites?
Yes. Multi-site deployments can be configured. Each site can be licensed separately or covered under a customised enterprise agreement.
Is implementation included?
Standard onboarding is included in the annual subscription. Large historical data migrations, complex integrations, custom modules or specialised implementation may be quoted separately.
